Biography
Bjorn Calleja is a Filipino contemporary painter and interdisciplinary artist. He earned his BFA from Far Eastern University, where he later became a part-time lecturer. His work draws on identity, kitsch, popular culture, art, politics, history, and his personal life. He works primarily with paintings, using oil paints, acrylics and spray paint on canvas, and also creates sculptural works.
